This is part of the first series of images that inspired me to dedicate myself completely to photography. They are all taken from plane windows, usually at those moments when we are trying to sleep, to catch up with time while  the sun and the sky continue unaware of our efforts. I was often amazed at what I saw; colors unlike any I had seen, the sense of infinite space and silence. My entire world seemed so small, yet I felt a part of something as eternal as what I was seeing out of my window.
